Little Angel is the perfect quick and simple knit for babies and toddlers, with sizing from 3 months to 2 years.

Whether you're knitting for your own little angels or a friend who's expecting, this is a pattern you'll return to time and time again. It is inspired by vintage 'angel top' knitting patterns, but updated and reimagined to make it a breeze for today's knitter, whatever your knitting style. The pattern includes instructions to either knit the body and sleeves flat or in the round, whichever you find easiest. The pattern uses only simple stitches and shaping, making it perfect for adventurous beginners.

Our yarn kit includes all the hand-dyed yarn you need to knit this sweet little baby sweater. Little Angel is knitted in our Bluem Sock fingering weight yarn, a smooth and resilient yarn which comes in a wide range of shades to suit every taste. Each skein is spun in Yorkshire and hand-dyed in our small studio in the Lake District.

The kit includes one or two skeins of Bluem Sock supplied in a Susan Crawford Vintage project bag: We have used Rusty Tractor for our sample, a lovely cosy reddish-brown shade.
