[tab1: The Pine Wood Stocking is a gorgeous addition to your festive celebrations! It features the same playful, stranded colorwork design from the Pine Wood socks, adapted to a lovely Christmas Stocking. The pine tree and garland motifs bring a cosy and festive vibe to the stocking.

The pattern is designed in 2 different sizes: a small one for decorating mantlepieces, trees, and for little gifts. And a larger stocking perfect for receiving exciting presents from Santa! The pattern includes full colour charts and a schematic.

Whether you’re decorating with the smaller size or gifting one to a loved one, this stocking will be an amazing project for your festive preparations.

The Pine Wood Stocking is knitted using [productlink: Susan Crawford Wold Worsted weight = wold-worsted :productlink] a unique blend of the wool of three British sheep breeds, spun into a soft a bouncy worsted weight yarn. It is dyed in-house by Susan and her team. Shown here in shades [productlink: Atwood = wold-worsted-atwood :productlink] and [productlink: Cumulus = wold-worsted-cumulus :productlink].

The pattern includes instructions for two sizes - a small decorative stocking, and a larger stocking for your festive goodies! It contains both clear written pattern directions, together with charted instructions for the colourwork and a schematic. :tab1]

19 stitches and 22 rounds to 10 cm / 4 in worked in stranded colourwork in the round. We obtained this gauge using 4.5mm needles.
